Through the Hoyeoncyclopedia(2017~), Kang has been reestablishing his relationship with `things already known` by reconstructing an encyclopedia.

In this exhibition, rather than defining the essence of an object within existing norms, he focuses on how it is perceived in life, creating pseudo-nature using everyday objects.

Transformed by the artist's touch and placed in different contexts, these objects generate unprecedented moments through personal memories and senses, both direct and indirect.

Utilizing a washing machine, soapy water, and glass windows, Sunny Side Up Please (2024) evokes the bright sun still shining on a ruined Earth.
